Covid19 skiing in Hintertux

So, Covid19 virus hit the world and everything stopped in Europe starting from March 2020. I too didn't go skiing in the Alps for several months, but once the lockdowns started to ease up in June and weather looked ok, I decided to go for it. I wasn't even sure if borders would be open between Germany and Austria, and planned to sleep in my car for two nights on the parking lot of Hintertux glacier in Austria. Sure enough, I wasn't the only one doing that and there were plenty of campers and even camp fires at the parking lot. Skiing was pretty good for June as well with some fresh, albeit tricky snow. Boy those two days in June 2020 were nice after the lockdown as the video below shows.

I hope this thing eases up in 2021.

Cheers,
